We are so proud of the High School art students who took part in the Memory Project!
The Memory Project is a nonprofit organization that invites art students and teachers to create portraits for kids around the world who have faced substantial challenges such as neglect, abuse, loss of parents, war and extreme poverty. The students drew pictures of the portraits sent to use that will now be sent back to the child as a gift. This helps the children feel valued, and connect globally. It was so awesome to see the students seek ways to do more for these children and to use their skills and talents to better someone's life!
Our students drew portraits of children in refugee camps from Syria. Grab a tissue and enjoy the video - https://youtu.be/ydyHVN_hg94
